Scuba Instruction

Scuba courses include: private instruction, rental gear, tanks, weights, BCD, regulator, mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit (if needed), certification fees, personal log book, text book, and RDP (dive planner) . All 4 open water dives are from our boat. There are no hidden fees.

 

OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION - $425
This is the foundation for all scuba activities. Once certified with a PADI Open Water Certification, you are recognized internationally as a Certified diver. Course includes five confined water and four open water dives and takes three to four afternoons to complete. Textbook work and tests are done during the evenings. If you would like to complete the reading part of the course before your vacation, purchase a PADI GO Dive textbook at any dive store and do the reading before you come. We also offer PADI Elearning so you can get the test and studying out of the way before you come down. This option is $30 more but it does afford a lot of flexibility in your schedule. REFERRAL COURSE - $270
Program for students who have completed academic and pool training with a PADI or SDI instructor and want to complete their open water dives in the beautiful waters of Cozumel. This works well for people that only have the option in diving a cold lake or have limited time. Course includes four open water dives by boat and takes two afternoons to complete. Student must be referred by a PADI or SDI instructor. Please ask for details.

ADVANCED OPEN WAtER - $300
Once you have your Open Water Certification, you can move on to become an Advanced Open Water diver. This course gives you additional experience in five specialty dives. You can choose your specialties including: Deep (up to 100 ft), Navigation, Night, Wreck, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Boat, Drift, Fish Identification and more. All dives are under the supervision of your instructor and take two to three days to complete. A fun course for certified divers with very little book work required and no test!

DISCOVER SCUBA DIVE - $85
Program designed for beginners that want to try scuba diving for the first time. No previous training or experience needed. Our course allows the individual to experience scuba, under direct supervision of a professional dive instructor, without having to complete a full scuba certification course. Almost anyone can enjoy this experience. The entire course takes about three hours and we would descend to a maximum of 40 ft. This dive also counts towards credit for your Open Water Certification if you find yourself wanting more time underwater. We offer a second dive at a larger reef for $40 more if they want to go again after the first dive. Certified family and friends are welcome to tag along for this course and pay $55r( $85 if they choose the second dive option).

SCUBA REVIEW - $65
This course is for the certified divers who need to refresh primary scuba skills after a long dry spell. The course provides a review of basic principles as well as hands-on pool/ocean scuba techniques. This course is highly recommended for anyone who has not been diving for over a year. For those who have never visited us before, it also provides a good introduction to Cozumel waters. We also offer a free Mini review if you are doing 3 more days of diving with us and would like to get reacquainted with your scuba skills.

NITROX COURSE - $200
Available to any certified diver, this course provides internationally recognized Nitrox Diver certification. Nitrox is an enriched air mixture which offers longer bottom times and decreased risk of decompression sickness for scuba divers properly trained in its use. One evening of classroom and two open water boat dives are included. This course usually takes two days to complete. If you want to skip the boat dive portion of this course we will discount the course $85.

 

If you would like to reserve any of these services, an $80 deposit per diver is required. This deposit is fully refundable up to two weeks before your visit. Any balance due at the conclusion of your trip needs to be in cash. If you would like to pay your bill with a credit card, full payment must be made before your arrival and a 4% surcharge will be added to your invoice. We can not (are not able to) accept personal or travelers checks.
